We took the girls to see Santa today. I asked Dylan what she was going to ask Santa to bring her and she said a baby doll, a book and a baby brother. Ok then… wasn’t expecting that one.
We were very curious about how the girls would respond to santa this year. Last year Ava didn’t want anything to do with him and she screamed and cried and Dylan did okay, but promptly threw up afterwards. This year I’m happy to report that both girls were happy to see santa! Here’s a video to prove it. Hope you enjoy!
What’s the funniest thing your child has ever done while visiting santa?

That is so sweet.
Really cute! I like the kiss Santa gives Ava at the end, she just looks at him like he is an odd creature (which really he is). What we subject our children to! Grant has never cried at Santa, but wouldn’t go near him at first. Then in preschool, Santa came to school to read the kids a story and Grant stood up to get a better look. Then he just walked right over and sat in Santa’s lap like it was no big deal and sat there while he finished. The other kids didn’t get upset or clamor to get on his lap, they just let Grant sit and enjoy himself. I, of course, didn’t get to see it, but the aide was really moved and took photos of it.
Dylan looks anxious. Ava looks perplexed. Next year they will have a list ready, so watch out.
